We are so lucky to have an authentic mexican restaurant in Wainwright. This couple started out with a food trailer and has now expanded to a restaurant. Not a bad thing on the menu. I personally recommend the nachos and shrimp tacos! I always order a cocktail or mocktail when I go, they are wonderful.

If you like Italian food, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The pasta is home made and absolutely to die for.

A new bakery in town with homemade bread, and all sorts of sweets. They do a great lunch with soup and sandwiches.

Best coffee shop in Wainwright. Also has a kids toy store attached called Walkin on Water.

At 2775 feet long and 195 feet high, located approximately 3.5 miles Northwest of Wainwright on Highway 14, and 3.5 miles West on Township Road 45-2, this historic Railway Trestle overlooks the Battle River. The Trestle was built in 1908 and was the longest Trestle in Canada during wartime.
